About a year ago I started working on category pages of the Zakupus.ua website and created about 50 SEO articles for categories for different types of product assortment. I made a simple direct translation of my articles from Ukrainian to English and posted this madness on my blog. A lot of time has passed, if not to say a lot: about eight months since the publication of these pages. They were all indexed and infused like ‘good cognac’.

So my results within the framework of the SEO experiment are as follows: how relevant were my articles in English and how Google bot will allow to place accents on keywords, see further in the report in Search Console.

The only article Plastic basin for washing clothes gained many views. Because I optimized only one of it, using keywords translation of the correct keyword plastic basin.

Conclusions

What can I say after everything is said within the framework of my ExperimentumSeo project? The articles do not look very relevant, since they were written specifically for the online store. But there is a positive trend in terms of the fact that the Google bot still recognized some of the keywords on which the article was written, but there are big differences in the keywords themselves. Because, for example, queries for the American market or the English market are slightly different from queries in Ukrainian. So the conclusion is that such a direct translation with SEO from one language to another will be effective only taking into account the keywords of the region in which the promotion of the article or site will be directed. Carefully study the keywords, and replace them with the ones needed for different regions where you want to increase traffic – localization seo. I am also happy with this result since there are minimal impressions on my blogs. But this is not what I wanted, since people do not search for products on my site, Google is wiser than me), I did not want to mislead anyone, this is just my experiment.
